DR Evolution cylinder design

The cylinder has 6 transfer ports and comes with a 2-ring piston. Optimized port timings and enlarged transfer ports, in particular an enlarged exhaust, ensue high revving and plenty of power. From the get go, the increase in displacement to 102cc results in a considerable increase in performance.

The 2-ring piston with special treatment and high silicon content ensures improved heat exchange and optimized performance. The flat top design increases the compression ratio, while an opening on the rear skirt improves filling and scavenging.

We recommend the use of a sports exhaust and a larger carburetor. The carburetor settings may need to be adjusted.

DR recommends the use of an NGK B8HS spark plug.
