NGK, founded in 1936, is a well-known manufacturer of high-performance spark plugs and spark plug connectors for all types of internal combustion engines.

In addition to its basic function of producing the spark, the spark plug can also be used to read the carburetor setting. The colour indicates whether the mixture is too lean (whitish electrode), too rich (black) or perfectly tuned (brown).
