High end cylinder Malossi Testa Rossa FL100
The famous cylinder with the red head: Malossi MHR Team Testa Rossa FL100 cylinder kit, suitable for crankcases 8.1, Malossi C-One, RC-One and other FL crankcases (Piaggio LC and Minarelli LC). The Testa Rossa stands for maximum power and completely new opportunities for tuning, this is as far as it gets when it comes to performance tuning for 2-stroke scooters. The Testa Rossa FL100 is Malossi's most powerful cylinder to date: over 32 hp at 14,000 rpm.

Flange mount cylinder
FL stands for Flange Mount, i.e. the cylinder is flanged from the outside. The space gained means that the scavenging channels can now be larger, and of course there are plenty of options for additional porting and tuning. Exhaust surface area and volume are very generous, and the bridge of the two-part exhaust is narrow, which minimizes stress on the piston.
Testa Rossa head
The red anodized modular and multi-bolted cylinder head that gives the Testa Rossa its name is CNC-milled from high-quality aluminium and completes the masterpiece not only in terms of performance, as it also add a great racing look to the engine.
Mounting with RC-One housing
Due to the innovative flange mount system, the cylinder can only be installed with high-end cases such as the Malossi C-One and RC-One, Ottopunto Fireblade, Top Performances TPR, Polini PRE. However, this is not a plug & play installation; the housing must be opend up a bit to accommodate a crankshaft with 100mm stroke / 47mm stroke.
Testa Rossa Setup
The cylinder must be used with a racing crankshaft with 100mm stroke. You will of course need a suitable racing exhaust and a larger 30mm - 34mm carburetor. And as this is a high-end racing kit, an internal rotor ignition is a must.
For maximum performance, Malossi offers the crankshaft with 47mm stroke / connecting rod 100 Malossi Testa Rossa FL100 and the Malossi MHR racing exhaust, both specially designed for the Testa Rossa.
