Developed and intended for racing exhausts, this thermal wrap is wrapped around the manifold for protection, but mostly for insulation in order to build up heat inside the exhaust and keep it hot; this results in speeding up of the gas flow. This is especially important in drag racing, there is usually not enough time to get the exhaust up to ideal operating temperature.

Black, easy-to-use. Matching stainless steel clamps to attach the strap are also available (S6-9702). Always use stainless steel wires to protect the cones.
