The clamp-on foam filters don’t have a proper flange but are clamped on; a spring-like interior framework renders the filter flexible and squeezable so it can be used for many different kinds of vehicles. Very good alternative to more common air filters especially if there’s not a whole lot of room to mount a “normal” filter, for example after upgrading your two-wheeler with a bigger carburetor (PWK).
