Like all engine oils, two-stroke oils lubricate the moving parts of the engine and thus protect it from wear and tear and of course from the dreaded piston seizure. Many modern 50cc scooters and geared mopeds as well as vintage mopeds are equipped with a 2-stroke engine and can only be used with 2-stroke oil. 2-stroke oil must meet several requirements, because on the one hand it must burn well and without residue, on the other hand the lubricating film must remain stable even at high speeds. Our semi-synthetic and fully synthetic two-stroke oils from manufacturers such as Castrol, Ipone, Motul and Stage6 meet these expectations, and even racing fans will not be disappointed by our fully synthetic racing oils.
