Derbi

Derbi is a Spanish motorcycle brand founded in 1922. The company was initially a repair shop for bicycles. In 1944, the range and focus was expanded and after the Second World War, Derbi produced their 50cc moped, the SRS, which laid the foundations for Beta's continued success story on the two-wheel market. ... 

Derbi then brought out other scooters with up to 250cc displacement. Many mass-produced models followed, with Derbi still focusing on the 50 to 125 cc market, with several moped, scooter and supermoto models. Derbi has also been able to strengthen their reputation by getting into motor sports and winning several titles and championships.

In 2001 the brand joined the Italian Piaggio Group. Today Derbi builds their 50 cc engines in compliance with Euro 4 standards. Currently Derbi's catalogue includes one enduro model, Senda DRD X-TREME 50 R, and three supermoto models, Senda DRD X-TREME 50 SM / SM LTD and DRD RACING 50 SM.
