THE CYLINDER - THE HEART OF THE ENGINE
The cylinder with piston and cylinder head forms the heart of an engine. The piston stroke generated in the cylinder produces a rotary motion via the crankshaft, which is ultimately transmitted to the wheel and thus causes the two-wheeler to roll. In combination with and with the help of the other components important for the function of the engine, such as the crankshaft, carburetor, intake system, transmission, ignition and exhaust , the cylinder performs the 2-stroke movement typical of scooters. In the first step, compression and combustion of the fuel-air mixture takes place. In the second step, the exhaust gases produced during combustion escape and pre-compressed fresh gas is drawn in. Bore (inner diameter of the piston track) and piston stroke (distance between its top and bottom dead center) are the parameters that ultimately determine the displacement.
Major brands such as Motoforce, MXS Racing, Stage6, Top Performances, Bidalot, Airsal, Polini, Metrakit and 2Fast develop and sell cylinders with displacements ranging from 50cc to 90cc.

Since cylinders are among the most relevant components, we carry an extremely wide selection of cylinder kits in all price ranges and for every conceivable application. The kits are always supplied with pistons, piston rings and circlips and usually also with cylinder heads and the gaskets required for installation.
We sell OEM quality 50cc cylinder kits that replace those fitted by the manufacturer as standard with a slight increase in power. These kits are all street legal and can be used legally on the road. These 49cc cylinders all offer excellent value for money.
