The chassis forms the basis of your bike, it entails all the parts that connect the wheels or chassis with the frame and engine. This includes suspension, shock absorber and fork. On scooters, the shock absorbers are attached to the frame top and to the engine block. Originally, most shock absorbers are adjusted to a rather soft setting to increase riding comfort for normal road use. We carry many OEM quality shock absorbers, partly from the original manufacturer or also from brands like Motoforce and RMS, so you can restore the suspension of your scooter to its original condition.
For racing we offer high quality shock absorbers from many manufacturers like Voca Racing, Stage6 R/T and Malossi. The option to adjust dampening to a harder setting makes handling more precise, which is a great advantage for driving fast and cornering. Most tuning shock absorbers have spring preload adjustment settings, but there are also models where rebound and compression can also be changed. There are basically three types of shock absorbers: gas shock absorbers, oil shock absorbers and gas-oil shock absorbers, some with external reservoir.
The suspension fork is the front shock absorber. It holds the front wheel and consists of two tubes and a triple tree with steering column. There are many models that replace the original in standard quality, for example from EBR or Piaggio, as well as high quality tuning models. Triple clamps are also available separately for many models
The best fork is useless if the bearings do not work properly. These steering bearings, also called headset, must always be in perfect condition to ensure safe riding. In our online shop you will find the right headset for most two-wheeler models.
