Moto Master - Company History

The first Moto-Master brake disc was created in 1996 near Eindhoven (in the Netherlands near a fantastic sand track very popular with MX fans) in the garage of the parents of Gaston Veron, a young mechanical engineer and avid off-road rider. Gaston was not satisfied with the performance of the standard brake discs on his bike, so he decided to build them himself. Tests were conducted at nearby MX tracks and it turned out that making a reliable and powerful brake disc is much more complex than expected.

Moto-Master Brake Systems was founded in 1997 with a lot of perseverance and a strong drive for innovation, and developed into one of the leading manufacturers of braking systems for motorcycles. The Ultra-lite and later the revolutionary Flame brakes are just a few of the many innovations that have earned the Dutch company an excellent reputation as a manufacturer of high-performance brakes. The founder sadly died in 2011 as a result of an off-road motorcycle accident, but the spirit of the company lives on: "Stopping the world's fastest".

Moto-Master has a passionate interest in motorcycles and has made it their mission to improve the riding experience by developing high performance braking systems. Proof of the quality of their products is that the brand has won numerous national, European, world and American championship titles in almost all motorcycle disciplines and currently holds the record for the most MX Grand Prix victories.

Research and development, manufacturing and warehousing still take place in the Netherlands, which allows the company to maintain a high level of quality and deliver quickly around the world.
