Small end bearings, also referred to as piston pin bearings, allow for frictionless transmission of power from cylinder to crankshaft; the linear force of the piston is transferred into the rotating movement of the crankshaft. These are typically needle bearings, which are located in the small end of the connecting rod and connects to the piston pin... Needle bearings are space-saving and extremely resistant to withstand immense forces. We stock small end bearings in standard sizes and oversize bearings from renowned manufacturers such as Stage6, Polini and Naraku. The dimensions of most of the bearings correspond to the original piston pin bearings. Whether regular bearing or sealed bearing (on one / both sides), you will find all variations. Beside the inexpensive standard bearings there are also high-quality silver bearings for tuning projects. The XL oversized bearings are used, if the original bearing has too much play.
