We are always looking for more power and improved performance, and tuning expert Bidalot from France is definitely one of our go-to manufacturers when it comes to high quality, extremely powerful racing products. The cylinder kit Bidalot Racing Factory 80 WR Derbi Euro 3 / 4 is another milestone in 2-stroke tuning, with improved cooling and very high life expectancy. Thanks to CAD manufacturing, the highest precision has been achieved.
The Nikasil-coated aluminum cylinder has 6 transfer ports and a boost port supported exhaust. Bidalot developed complete new transfer and exhaust ports to perfectly match the Ø47.6mm bore. The objective was to provide very high power at high rpm, but without compromising torque and mid-range performance.
The piston is made of an extremely heat-resistant aluminum-silicon alloy for extended service life.
The one-piece cylinder head is CAD designed and has a self-centering combustion chamber. The cylinder head protrudes 2.4 mm into the bore. The water jacket has been redesigned and adapted to the new ports. The material thickness is constant throughout to ensure consistent thermal stability. The exhaust is flushed directly, and the water then flows to the cylinder head, where it cools the combustion chamber, thus ensuring perfect overall cooling.
Timing and compression are designed for racing use (±193° exhaust, ±132° overflow, with a compression ratio of 15.8-16.0 to 1).
Note: when installing this racing cylinder, you have to use matching high-end tuning components - reinforced racing crankshaft (with 90mm connecting rod and 44.9mm stroke), internal rotor ignition, VForce reed valve, larger carburetor (32mm), reinforced clutch, etc. Since this is a real high-end part, you should definitely have the appropriate know-how!
The cylinder is installed with a special 4-hole flange, but can also be installed with a 2-hole flange with 50mm hole spacing.
