Open CDI AM6 Euro 4 and EUro 5 - Rieju, Beta, Sherco, Vent...Etc.

Replacement for original: Open CDI for AM6 Euro 4 and Euro 5 for 50cc motorbikes  such as Rieju MRT, Beta RR, Sherco SE-R, Vent Derapage RR and many others.

Why should you use an open CDI?

The CDI unit on original 50cc motorcycles is usually restricted by the manufacturer in order to meet the applicable emissions standards, in this case the Euro 4 / Euro 5 standard. This limits the vehicle in terms of power and top speed.

To increase performance and top speed, you can install an "open2 CDI to remove this restriction. For vehicles with Euro 4 / Euro 5, however, it may be necessary to remove further restrictors in addition to the CDI in order to completely derestrict the engine.

Please note: It is necessary to replace the CDI if you install a sports / racing cylinder or tuning exhaust.

Installation CDI:

Installing a new CDI unit is extremely easy as it is a "plug & play" system. Simply remove the plug from the original CDI and connect the new CDI - done!
