The acual gearbox of a scooter, mopeds and supermot / dirt bike are lubricated with transmission oil; without sufficient lubrication the mechanical friction of the gears would simply be much too high. Since oil ages over time and thus loses the necessary viscosity and also gets dirty through metal cuttings, the transmission oil must be changed at regular intervals. The service intervals vary depending on the model, manufacturer and driving style. We stock transmission oils in various viscosities from leading manufacturers such as Ipone, Castrol, Malossi or Stage6, which are used to lubricate the gearbox and gears in order to achieve an optimal transmission of power.
