Advantages of the MotoForce Racing 103 crankcase
As you can see from its design, the MotoForce Racing 103 crankcase offers an economical solution for fitting a 50cc motorcycle intake to your moped.
The 103 crankcase is equipped with an AM6/Derbi valve box, which improves engine filling. What's more, two intake pipes are supplied with the 103 crankcase, one 15mm and the other 19mm, offering a variety of possible engine configurations.
Note: some modifications may be required to suit your plans:
- If you're planning to replace the valve box with a model other than the one supplied, you may need to machine the 103 motor housing to allow passage of the screws for the slat retaining plate.
- Valves designed specifically for AM6 engines, such as the VForce 3 valve box, are not directly compatible with this motor housing and require modification of the mounting holes on your BAC.
- Depending on the cylinder you choose to install on this MotoForce Racing 103 crankcase, it may be necessary to cut out the first cooling fin (on the cylinder base side) to avoid any contact with the engine mount. We advise you to carry out a blank assembly beforehand.
