DR Evolution cylinder design

The cylinder has 7 transfer ports and comes with a 2-ring piston. Thanks to optimized port timing, enlarged transfer ports and a large exhaust port supported by boost ports, it offers excellent revving and plenty of power. Naturally, the drastic increase in displacement to 177cc is reflected in a nice increase in performance.

The high-quality 2-ring piston with special silicon content is fitted with chrome-plated 2mm heavy-duty piston rings. The slightly domed piston crown increases the compression ratio, while side openings on the rear skirt improve the intake and lubrication of the engine.

We recommend the use of a sports exhaust. The carburetor settings must be adjusted or a larger carburetor must be used.

DR recommends the use of an NGK B9HS spark plug.
