Gear drive starter Coleman, for 3/8 inch socket and YTX9-BS battery (without socket and battery). External / manual gear drive starters have become quite popular in the kart racing scene and are now also used for drag racing. Getting rid of the electrical, the starter and kick starter saves some weight, and less weight means better acceleration. The gear drive starter is connected to the alternator nut (3/8 inch socket), the engine is ready to get started.

The 3/8 sockets and the battery are not included.
