Yasuni R - Performance
The Yasuni R exhaust is the big brother of the Yasuni Z. The expansion chamber is larger and it is ideal for use on 70cc entry-level tuning cylinders, but can also be used with 50cc cylinders. While the Yasuni Z is designed purely for 50cc cylinders, the Yasuni R is intended for 70cc cylinders (entry-level tuning). Also perfect for anyone considering a change between 50cc and 70cc. It provides a good performance boost at medium RPMs and has a peak power RPM of approx. 10,000 rpm.
To avoid vibrations, the stainless steel mount is rubber-mounted in two spots and does its job really well.
To make the YASUNI R street-legal, restrictors are installed in both the header and the silencer. Removing them voids the approval but unlocks the exhaust’s full performance potential.
Conclusion:
The YASUNI R has a wide power band and delivers a punchy, aggressive sound. The end silencers are interchangeable, so you can match the look to your scooter. Just like on high-end racing systems, the silencers are spring-mounted, which makes leaks virtually impossible.
To get the best performance from this exhaust, you should install it with a 17.5mm carburetor (minimum) and a tuning CVT.
