Malossi 70cc Cast Iron Cylinder Kit "Sport" Peugeot Ludix (Peugeot horizontal LC) - a very robust 70cc cylinder kit for everyday use.
This cylinder was originally developed for endurance racing and also for everyday road use. It is highly wear and heat resistant. The combination of a cast iron cylinder and a piston with 2 rings (also made of cast iron) make for a kit running for several thousand kilometres without requiring over-the-top maintenance. With plenty of torque and power at low and mid rpm range, this kit will give you excellent acceleration and killer take-offs (if combined with a sports clutch).
Set up with the right components (17.5mm carburetor and sports exhaust), this kit can reach 8 to 9hp, with a wide rpm range making the adjustment of the variator quite easy.
The kit includes:
- 70cc Cast Iron Cylinder with 5 transfer ports and simple oval exhaust port
- Two-Ring Piston
- High-Compression Monobloc Cylinder Head - use a standard long-reach spark plug (B9ES or BR9ES) with this cylinder head!
- Reed Petal Set, carbon fibre (for original reed valve)
- Gasket Kit for mounting
