Malossi products are popular for many reasons - durability, reliability, excellent workmanship, premium quality materials, top design, state-of-the-art production techniques, highest level quality control etc. This 282cc tuning cylinder represents all of these. More torque, higher top speed, better response and acceleration - it can't get much better.
But it gets better - with the Malossi V4 cylinder head, a 4-valve aluminium head with enlarged inlet and outlet ducts. Cylinder filling is optimized which will lead to an additional power increase of about 20%.
As it is an aluminium cylinder, cooling properties are excellent. It is, like most HQ aluminium cylinders, Nikasil-coated to reduce wear and friction and to keep the temperature down. The piston is a real lightweight with low-friction piston rings.
