Starcross 6 - 2022 off-road tires from tire specialist Michelin
The Starcross 6 is the successor to the Starcross 5 with even more grip and greater durability.
The Starcross is available in several versions. The MUD is designed for muddy terrains, The SAND is for sandy ground with optimum traction and for improved handling.
For terrains with loose to slightly muddy soil, the Starcross 6 MEDIUM SOFT are ideal.
For mixed soils (irrigated hard soil, hard soil with loose subsoil) there is the Starcross 6 MEDIUM HARD. This tire is suitable for almost all terrains, it offers an excellent compromise in almost all track conditions because its tread is very versatile.
The Starcross 6 HARD is ideal for hard and dry soils. The tread ensures excellent grip on very hard (or stony) grounds, which is usually the case in summer. Its service life is the best of all tires in the Starcross range, as the rubber compound and design ensure very slow wear.
Please note: For very powerful motorcycles, it is recommended to use a wider rear tire to put as much power as possible on the ground and avoid slipping when exiting corners.
Example: 125cc 2-stroke MX -> Tire 100/90-19. 250cc 4-stroke -> Tire 100/90-19 to 110/90-19. 450cc 4-stroke -> Tire 110/90-19 to 120/90-19.
