Intake spacers are mostly used on higher rpm engines; they increase the length of the intake tract and crankcase volume and create more space for the fuel to burn, both resulting in better performance.

The oversize spacer can be used with most reed valves on the market, such as the Stage6 Viton, Stage6 V-Force reed valves.
