Piston Malossi Testa Rossa FL100
Replacement piston for Malossi MHR FL100 Testa Rossa cylinders.
Malossi pistons are available in different sizes, with size 0 as the smallest size and all other pistons being oversize versions. Each size has an increase of 0.01 mm.
We generally recommend following the manufacturer's instructions (stamped number / letter) when replacing the piston.
Why use oversize pistons?
Although the standard piston (size 0) is completely sufficient, you can further reduce the piston play by using oversize pistons and get even more power from the cylinder. The tighter the piston sits in the bore (thinner oil film, less tilting, less friction), the lower the compression loss, which in turn leads to increased power. Definitely something for savvy tuners and professional use in racing.
