Stage6 Exhaust Gas Temperature Gauge EGT 0 - 1200°C

Stage6 Exhaust Gas Temperature Gauge EGT 0 - 1200°C, small thermometer for measuring exhaust gas temperature (EGT), useful little tool for adjusting your carburetor / engine.

The temperature is measured and displayed in real time. As a general guideline - lower temperatures indicate too rich air-fuel mixtures, (very) high temperatures of too lean mixtures.

Easy install, no welding required.

For optimal engine performance, the spark plug should be brown. Using smaller jets increases performance but also leads to leaning of mixture (white spark plug) and eventually to engine seizure. We recommend to use a jet which results in a mixture that gets you an exhaust gas temperature of 650° driving straight on full throttle. Higher temperatures might be ok depending on what components you're using, but you will have to be careful, since overheating can lead to a piston seizure; an integrated alarm will tell you when the engine is running too hot.
