Short Stage6 Intake Manifold for Piaggio - excellent value alternative to other, more expensive manifolds. A short intake leads to improved engine response and the torque curve is moved up the rev range.
So-called biofuels are becoming more and more popular. They may contain up to 20% of pure alcohol, which makes the fuel more aggressive towards standard NBR rubber compounds. Over time, the alcohol will soften the NBR. For products that are subject to extensive fuel contact (reed valves, intake manifolds etc.), Stage6 opted for a FKM (Viton) compound, which is slightly more expensive, but also more alcohol- and heat-resistant.
