schmitt Sportfreund cast iron cylinder kit (60cc, 40mm bore) for Puch mopeds
The Schmitt "Sportfreund" cylinder kit made of robust cast iron offers 60cc displacement and a 40mm bore, designed for crankshafts with a 12mm piston pin. This sports cylinder is compatible with air-cooled Puch mopeds such as the MS50, MV50 and other models with 2-, 3- or 4-speed gearboxes (not suitable for R or M engines).
Included in the kit is a specially coated 2-ring piston with molybdenum for enhanced glide properties, which aids in a smoother break-in period. Additionally, the kit contains piston rings, a piston pin with retaining clips, and a cylinder gasket set.

This cylinder kit is suitable for the following Puch moped models with 12mm piston pin, from year of manufacture approx. 1969:
- Puch MS series: MS50, MS50V
- Puch VS series: VS50, VS50D
- Puch MV series: MV50, MV50X-2, MV50X-3
