Schmitt offers this GST-50 50cc cylinder kit for Simson S51, KR51/2, SR50 mopeds with M500 engine.
The Schmitt GST-50 cylinder is a high-torque, reliable and durable 50cc cylinder. This powerful cylinder will get you a significant increase in power and torque compared to the original cylinder. Out of the box the GST-50 yields about 7 hp, you should of course combine it with matching tuning components (tuning exhaust etc.).
The kit also includes a newly developed 2-ring sport piston with narrow piston rings and a completely new performance cylinder head.
Cylinder and cylinder head have more surface area to improve cooling. In addition, the cylinder offers enough room for further machining without the need for cumbersome gluing or welding.
The kit includes: 2-channel cylinder, performance cylinder head, base gasket, 2-ring sport piston, carburetor stud bolts and small parts.
