Doppler Tension Spring ER1 103 MVL / Vogue

The Doppler Engine Tension Spring ER1 Peugeot 103 Vogue stabilizes the engine at high rpm, but its actual and foremost function is to ensure that the drive belt has the correct and desired tension. Since the driven pulley remains static in this kind of CVT, the engine moves backwards, and the spring takes up the slack in the belt.

It is mounted between frame and engine and can be adjusted via a thread. Very high quality, ideally suited for high-revving engines.
